Let's start with the good news.
Friday he had his appt at Children's hospital, better known as CHOP to us subarbanites of Philly. We got there. Barely but we made it. They were going to sedate him but I thought I could get him to sleep. He couldn't move thru the test, not at all.
So Bobby wanted to sedate him b/c he figured it would go better.
I really didn't want him sedated so I tried to get him to sleep.
Cheeker's slept thru the entire test.
Called my ped. yesterday. She called back.
While she said it's almost closed, that they are just going to monitor him every month like they normally do by feeling his head!!! She said he's fine!
YES! YES! YES! So thank you all who prayed & kept him in your thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 90% relieved. 10% of me is worried it will close prematurely but like the Nana said if the doctor was concerned she would have said & done more! True. So my little baby's Charlie Brown head get's to stay in tact. Yay.
Saturday morning I took him to see Santa. There is a mall around here that is sort of dead. Well, not sort of, it is! So we got there around 11am & walked right on up to the big guy. Cheeks just looked at him, didn't know what to make of him, didn't cry or fuss. He was more interested in looking at the lights that decorated Santa's crib! I was good. I only ordered the pkge I intended too! Then I saw the frames & that's where things went bad. I got a really cute one for only $15. So I spent $30 bucks. Not too shabby & really, your little one only has his 1st Xmas once! Right?
So here is a pic to put a smile on your face~!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
Can you hear Freddie Mercury singing? Yes, yes, my kid, my Timmy, is a critical member of the new champions, Gloucestor Twp. Stallions. The kid played Quarterback & Linebacker today in his champion game. They won 24 to 8! Talk about a slaughter. He played great. He was so worn out by the time he got home. To top off everything else....he was voted one of five kids from his team to go the All Star game next week!
It's your football day!

What's even sadder? The baby fell asleep at 8, the Bobster is asleep on the couch & I am sitting here drinking a Mike's Hard Berry.
Yes, yes, I drink alone. Thank you George Thorogoode for a fun song.
(this is the 1st time in 36 years that alcohol was brought in the house for me)

We had his 3 months visit tonight.
He is healthy, growing like a weed & where he needs to be for his develpmental stage.
The dr. couldn't feel his soft spot & thinks it has grown together. She wants him to have a cat scan at Children's Hospital in Philly. If it is grown together, the worse scenario is that he will have to have surgery to fix it. She said that if it is a problem & we don't have it fixed, his brain will not have room to grow & he become developmentally delayed.
She feels in her heart of hearts that he is fine but still wants the test.
So please keep the Cheekers in your thoughts.

He is the reason for this post!
I took this video from Torreh's blog.
Please pass it on to anyone you know with a child.
Heartbreaking BUT informative in the same respect. This woman took her pain, which is unimaginable, & turned it into a service for others.

I posted yesterday. Why? B/c I got ripped off. Due to my own fault.
Went to BabiesRUS. Returned tub.
Got money back.
Bought 2 outfits + soda.
Got home. Saw commercial on tv for coupon for yesterday only for $5 off $25 purchase.
Had coupon in diaper bag to use.
Forgot to use!
Went to Target.
Got store credit for $15.
Total after store credit: $103.00
B/c I forgot to give the credit to the cashier!
Onto more exciting things:
See this kid here:
That's one good looking kid, if I do say so myself. Timmy turned 13 on Oct 29th. He was with his mom & her boyfriend for his birthday, so when he came to our house last weekend, we had his birthday celebration. He is starting to thin out & get more mature looking. I think this photo makes him look a lot older than 13! What a flirt too. We will all be in the van, he will see a pretty girl & will:
knock on the van window
hold his hands up as the phone symbol
mouth the words:
Hello! He's 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has had a string of girlfriends too. Of coures, some only last a day or so, but I guess that's life in the 7th grade!
Of course I can not go without posting this pic which I found on my camera. Apparantly Aunt Erin has a lot of time on her hands during the day.
The E-Master Dogg!

Please bow your head in a moment of silence to honour the passing of the Fisher Price Fishie Chair Toy Bar. The Fishies have gone on to bluer pons. Sadly. It all started over the weekend. The fishies weren't swimming like normal, sort of lifeless. Then the music went to slow, scarey movie music. So Mommy called FP yesterday. Cheekers can not be without his fishies. They were moving yesterday but it was only a matter of time. Mommy spoke with the c/s rep who said she would mail out a replacement toybar...FREE OF CHARGE!!! Woo hoo! So today, I put the toybar on, the new one was just shipped today. Unfortunately for the fishies, yesterday was their last day. They weren't moving. Just sort of laying there in the bar, looking sad & forlorned. Cheeks notices but if you take it away & then put it back a minute later it's like brand new fishies. I would like my readers to keep your fingers crossed that the new toybar arrives soon!!!! Cheeks will be missing his friends.
Bobster called. Keep in mind he left this past Sun to work 2 weeks straight, til Nov 17th, in Mass. He called me today. Change of plans. He's now staying til Thanksgiving. Um, hello, that's like 3 weeks!!!!! I am upset, he's upset, Cheeks & the boys are upset. Yea, it's a bit upsetting BUT he has to do what he has to do. Responsibities take priority ya know.
So I am getting a new office at work. They have assigned me my territory, finally. So I am mvoing to the office where all the files are. Why they can't move the files to my office is a question I asked but was told easier to move me, then them. So I am leaving my happy condo area & moving to a new neighborhead. I am not sure if I am moving up or down. I go from a windowless office with a door, to an office with 4 windows (1 to the outside, 3 inner office) but no door. Guess it's a double edge sword!
Erin made dinner today. Fried ravioli, garlic bread & then made dessert to go with it. YUMMO! It was nice to have dinner made for me when I came home & I did't have to clean up.
Tuesday is her Tastefully Simple party sooooooooooo if you would like to order anything let me know or if you wanna come, come on over. It's at my house!
Well I am getting tired...so Woops out!

That's the look on poor Cheeker's face. This is what I found in my email at work today! He just looks completely & utterly lost! BAAHAAHAA. I am not sure what is going on with Erin's digi but I think the photo is actually pretty cool!
Nothing is really going on here. Rained all day. I was late to work, not my fault, Bobster still in Mass.
Very upset over the Britney/K-Fed divorce. I mean, really, those two crazy kids were just destined to be together forever. Puh-lease! Her tushy should have stuck with Justin Timberlake! I like him with her better than Cameron Diaz. Not too crazy about that Cameron.
On that note:

This is what I saw in my email at work the other day.
Makes me want to run home & kiss him all over!!!
I would like to tell any of you that are in the vicinity of the brand Edy's Ice Cream, run, do not walk, to get a gallon of their Apple Pie ice cream. OMG! This is the SHIT! Sorry, it's the only way to describe how freakin good it is!
Just wanted to post a quickie. Took some meds so I am tired but first did you all know that if you are allergic to eggs, chicken, chicken feathers or chicken dander you can not get the flu vaccine. Hmmmm.....interesting to think why??!

Holy Moly! Has it been that long since I last updated? Hmmm, what's been going on? Well Cheeks had his first Halloween. He spent the day with Aunt Erin b/c Mommy had to work. He was cranky so by the time I got home, he was out of his costume but here he is, smiled & all:
We also celebrated my Grandpop's 86th birthday. Tell me the baby doesn't look like his Great Grandpop. My Grandpop is very proud that his great grandson looks like him....you decide if he does or doesn't?:
We also got a pic of Cheekers & Mommy...b/c they haven't really existed. Guess that's the life of a scrapper...always out of the pic!
We have the boys this weekend. Tim turned 13 on Oct 29th, so we are celebrating his birthday this weekend. Aunt Erin made him the cake. Now he, Chris & his dad are upstairs playing the new PS2 games he got for his birthday.
We are also going to attempt to make Caramel Apples this weekend. That is if I can find the sticks for the apples. I thought they sold kits but I found them NO WHERE! So I bought the caramel & I am going to wing.
That's it for now. Cheekers is awake & his fishies aren't moving as quickly as he likes. Not to worry b/c he will be staring at his Amish girlfriend in a matter of seconds. Will update on the Amish girlfriend tomorrow!
