Swing Low Lamby's, Swing Low!

I like the swing, I don't like the swing, I like the swing, I don't like the swing. If I could just make up my mind. Maybe these lamby's can help a baby out & tell me if I should like it. I like my outfit, so why not like the swing.

As you can see, Cheeks likes the swing on his terms. Not mine.

Normally this wouldn't be bad BUT I have discovered this week that when he is tired he wants Mommy to hold him to go to sleep. Hmm....I can do it but just between you & I, I was told to let him cry it out. I have done it twice now & it breaks my heart. He was fed, clean, dry & not not feeling ok, so I knew it was just that he was pissed. I can tell that cry immediately. He usually uses the pissed cry when he is hungry & I haven't gotten his bottle in his mouth fast enough. You would think I was torturing the poor babe.

I am also having issues with letting Cheeks be on his own when he is awake. I want to interact with him, so he learns & knows he's loved. Altho. I am finding that sometimes that get's him overstimulated so I have stepped back & let him stare at the wall. I do put him under his gym or in the swing or prop Elmo up next to him to look at but the wall, well it is just so damn interesting that he can't tear his eyes away. Of course earlier, the box that holds my glider is sitting on the floor & Cheeks was staring at it like it was a Picasso, so go figure!

Only 3 weeks to go before I have to return to work. If anyone knows a way I can make my income staying home....let me know! And get health insurance at the same time. I am so going to have a hard time going back to work.

On a brighter note, I have cooked 3 times this week. Last night, Bruschetta Chicken...not too shabby...topping could have been crustier. Tonight I threw in some drumsticks with red potato wedges, drizzled Italian dressing & Romano cheese on top, baked at 400 for one hour & if I say so myself....VERY TASTY!!!!

On that note....

Honestly....

Can he BE anymore cuter? I don't think so! Man is that baby adorable. This was a quick, impromptu photo shoot in his new corduroy, hunting hat that Mommy bought him over the weekend. The hat is affectionately referred to as an "Eraserhead" hat in our household. I think Cheeks likes it! Mommy definitely thinks it "makes the baby!"

He had his one month check up yesterday. My little raspberry is up to 13lbs, 4 ounces & according to his pediatrician "Perfect." She told me he was beautiful & then gave him kisses. That's what I like to hear....how beautiful my boy is. Yes, yes, I am partial but come on, look close, the kid is gorgeous!

He has fallen into somewhat of a routine the pass 2 nights. He eats about 8, falls asleep about 10 & sleeps til 2. Now last night I wanted to give him a bottle at 11 with cereal in it. Um, yea, not so much. He was asleep & Hiroshima could happen next to his head & the babe is not waking up! Seriously, if he is in a deep sleep, he is out! Gone! Buh Bye & Hello Dreamland. That's good sometimes, but othertimes, whew, it's just impossible to wake him. Trust me, everyone has tried!!!!

Bobster is out of town. My house, altho. still chaotic, is somewhat orderly & clean. Yes, I love the Bobster but his a SLOB! With a capital S-L-O-B! So as of now, there aren't any dirty socks lying on the floor or shorts thrown in the corner or dishes lying around, sans my cereal bowl that I just used to my left but um, hello, I will take it to the kitchen!

On other notes, I am itching to scrap but just can't find the time. My stuff is packed away in the boys closet, upstairs. I have no idea when I will get to scrap again.

Cheeks is 5 weeks old today. I can not believe it!!!!!!!! He still loves to curl up in the fetal position on my chest. Love that! Of course, he also likes to bob his head from my left shoulder, to my chin, then hurl himself into my arms on the right so he is cradled. Good thing I catch him everytime. Hee hee.

Well better go get the bahbots made before he wakes! He's taking his "My belly is so full after breakfast" nap.

One Month Old!

Cheeks was officially one month old this past Saturday! I can't believe it. He has changed so much in just the 4 weeks he has been here (5 weeks day after tomorrow.)

I got his proofs back from his first official photography shoot. My child is absolutely gorgeous in them! I say, he's ready for print work, then commercials, then tv, before you know it...MOVIES! Yes, I am bias. I think he is the bestest looking babe ever. I tell him everyday, each time I feed him. I tell him he a handsome devil, a pretty boy & that all the other babies talk about how gorgeous he is & that yes, he is indeed King of the Babies. :>) Hope he doesn't grow up to have an ego.

Started him on cereal today. DO NOT tell the pediatrician. Big no no. They wanted to wait til he was 6 mos old. Um, hello! He was 11lbs at birth. So upon questioning other mommy's, I found that only one followed dr's orders & waited til the right time to give her child cereal. Everyone else started cereal when they thought it was the right time. So he got a tablespoon of rice cereal (YUM!) in his 6 oz of formula today. Held him off for about 6 hrs. Of course, I was out & about with him & once he hits the car & stroller, Cheeks is down for the count. Hmm...guess I will have to take him for a walk at 3am. Just look for the crazy woman with the stroller in the middle of the night...that will be moi.

I am enjoying being home way to much! I so do not want to go back to work. Sadly it's a necessary evil. On a bright note, my little sister quit her job & is going to watch Cheeks for us. We are paying her & this way I know in my heart he is getting the best care & won't be ignored.

Well, he's up. Time to read him some stories!

How many nuts are in there?

Just some photos of my little Cheeks. See why I call him Cheeks?
The lower photo is of Ethan meeting his Great Grandpop for the first time. I really like the fingers touching each other. My sister got a close up of just the fingers that I will most likely get framed. Of course, my son's straight as an arrow leg is in the photo....anyone know how to photoshop that out? Any help would be appreciated it.

The babe is up to 6oz at feedings...he's getting so big. He's getting fussy now, just heard him, so must run!

P3

No, not the club on "Charmed", P3 stands for Puke, Poop & Pee. Yes all 3 have been done on me in a matter of hours by my little Cheeks.

It first started when I fed him. I was lifting him up to put on my shoulder when all of a sudden he decided to spew! And spew he did...all over the Mommy. It went in my hair, my face, my mouth, my shirt. YUCK! So I cleaned him, cleaned me & went on with my day.

Hours later I went to change him. Had a poopie diaper. So as I am changing him, I wipe his tushie, he farts & the poop starts coming again & again & again! So much that it got on my fingers. DOUBLE YUCK! So he finishes, I clean up & on with the day we go.

Now I have to change him again. So I am wiping him down, it was just a peepee diaper when all of a sudden he decides there is a fire to put out & starts to pee everywhere. Primarily on the Mommy. I got him quickly covered with a wipe but not before he left his significant mark on me! Sort of like a dog marking his terriority.

It's all worth it tho.

Now what I find amusing today is that so many people have an opinion on my son's name. I have been asked to change it, asked if I got him boxing lessons to fend off the kids when he goes to school & even if I want him to grow up to be in show business. I guess when you have a child it gives others the right to give you their opinion on the chosen name. Now I could understand if I had given him a symbol as a name or named him Valley of the Dolls or Audio Science but Ethan, come on....COOL NAME!!!!!

O well. My little "Cheeks" is getting so big!!!!! He makes so many funny noises when he is awake & sleeping. He likes to grunt but I feel sad when in his sleep he will make the booboo lip & wimper. I want to help him but can't figure out why he does it. It only lasts 5 seconds but it's enough to break the Mommy's heart.

I am getting his newborn pics done on Monday. Can't wait!!!!! I want to get the one done of him, naked, with a blue bow tied on him. We shall see!

He went in his swing for the first time yesterday. I think he enjoyed it. He fell asleep with a frown...which made him look even more like his Great Grandpop Woeppel. He gets to meet him tomorrow!! Ethan is going to have a couple fun, filled days ahead of him in the next week or so.

The house is slowly coming along. Not fast enough for me & not how I like but cest la vie.

I think that is it for now. Exhaustion is my new best friend, so my brain isn't functioning at top performance.

3 weeks

I can not believe that tomorrow my little "Cheeks" will be 3 weeks old. Holy Moley! He is just so freakin adorable I can't stand it!!!!! He makes me laugh all the time & the expressions he makes cracks everyone up. He really only fusses when he is really hungry or has a poopie diaper. If he is wet, he just hangs out. Doesn't seem to bother him. He's a bit gassy but I don't know if that's from the iron in his formula or the fact that he is a Buchman. I have never seen a family of men with more gas problems in my life! Ethan's smell bad as well. Like his father's. :>)

He goes back to the dr. on Sept 19th. I am anxious to see what he weighs. Not anxious for the 19th. That just means we are closer to me returning to work. I seriously don't think I can leave "Cheeks." I am still searching for other daycare options. I have a girl, who is on my way to work, but I want to see if I can find someone else or maybe a facility. It is going to kill me to have leave him. I get upset just thinking about it. I can imagine my 1st day back to work. I will be a nervous wreck all day just waiting to see my Ethan!

Ok, enough about that depressing topic. I had my follow up appt. today at the ob/gyn. Everything looks good. I have to go back in a week b/c my incision is a tad red but they gave me antibiotic to help it heal, otherwise she said it looks great. On an even better note, I lost 44lbs. Which means I am thinner by 14lbs than I was when I 1st went in Jan for my 1st pregnancy appt. Yay me! I should have more babies!!!!

Sleep deprevation has hit. Not Ethan or the Bobster but moi! Ethan likes to eat hourly some nights, just taking a bit here & there & then other nights he eats normally every 3 hrs., which works out to about an hour & a half of sleep for the mommy by the time he eats & gets put in his crib. It's all worth it tho!!!! I can't get enough of Ethan. I love holding him. Especially when he curls up on my chest & then he will sigh as if he is so content with the world. Man! The babe is just too cute!!!!!!! I need to see about getting his newborn photos taken. Hopefully not too expensive but the lady I want to do them does fabu work so I am sure it will not be "Wally World" cheap.

The house is coming along. Not fast enough for me but I have to learn to deal with it. The Bobster, he could live in a mud hut & it wouldn't bother him. Gotta love him for that, or is it gotta have him tarred & feathered for that? Hee hee.

I have more pics of "Cheeks." As soon as I find the photo card scanner I will post a few on here. I got some gratitious nudey shots. How can one resist a tushie shot of a 2 week old!

Gots to go!

Cheeks has arrived!

Yes, my little raspberry arrived in the world at 9:04am on 8/16. His weight....11lbs, 1 oz & he measured 22 3/4" long. He was remeasured at the ped yesterday & he is actually 21 3/4" long.

He is absolutely beautiful!!!!! He has light brown hair, perfect skin & his cheeks weigh at least 5 lbs each. We are working on getting him on a schedule but so far no such luck. Mommy is sleep deprived & cries a lot. A lot more than "Cheeks."

I am slowly recovering from the c-section. It was intimatidating at first & I cried in the OR b/c they wouldn't let Bobby in right away. Then when he came in, I cried & told everyone I was sorry. They all said I had nothing to be sorry for.

Anyway Ethan spent his first day in the NICU. He swallowed some of my amniotic fluid on his way out & had wet lung. So I didn't get to see him til 5:30 in the afternoon. I cried b/c he was hooked up to so many wires BUT he got better & the next day spent the day with Mommy &Daddy in Mommy's hospital room.

Must run. Time to wake "Cheeks" up!

Woops out! or should that be "MOMMY OUT!"

European Time

Yes, yes, I am convinced my body is on European time. That would explain why I am up at 4am today or everyday for the past 2 weeks. Of course, it's 10am in France so my body must have jet lag from my trip to Paris in Jan 2005~!!!!!!!!!! Or it could be that that is when the Bobster likes to come to bed. Thus adding pressure & heat to the bed, which in turn keeps me awake. Not his fault really. Then my stomach gets the signal that I am awake & decided to growl as if I haven't put food in it since my trip to Paris! (Which by the way, doesn't have the greatest food but that's another topic!)

I am so friggin tired. I just looked at the bed with longing. Well first the clock, 6:31am, then the bed. Only to be disappointed b/c before I got in last night I had to remake it b/c someone, ahem not me, pulls the covers out & twists them all around. I need the covers tucked in & straight. Guess what? They are all twisted, the body pillow I have is now hot b/c someone is using it & my head pillow is wrapped in his arms, which is like trying to break open the safe that holds the Hope diamond. Not to mention the human chain saw is going at like he is destroying the Pine Barrons!

Is it so pathetic that I am looking forward to the hospital stay? Where at night I will be by myself, in a bed that reclines? With no fan on if I don't want it. Which is a moot point in my house! Too bad if I don't like the fan. Well someone has hair & little bits of hair tickle that person's face & nose all night unlike the follically challenged who sleeps in the same bed!

So, like I told the girls, there are only 3 more sleeps until the grand debut!!!! Can you believe it? I still have to wash the bassinet bumpers & sheets plus the 3-6 months onesies & mittens that I got him. Guess I should do that today or tomorrow since those will be the last days I have my own washer & dryer. That is the one thing I am going to miss most of all Toto! My washer & dryer. Now I have to schlep it to the laundry room or the laundromat. Guess it's a small price to pay for having a 3 bedroom townhouse compared to my one bedroom apartment.

Of course, we move day after tomorrow & I still have packing to do. It's pathetic really. Altho. maybe the packing will induce labor & he will come even that many more sleeps earlier. Hee hee.

He likes it too much in there.

Yes, he's never making his debut. After some pain this morning & back pain & such, I called the ob/gyn & she sent me to the hospital to be monitored. Luckily the Bobster made it home in time to take me. He started Dunkin Donuts today!

Anywho, arrived at the hospital & they gave me a belly band, in Queen size. Bobby thought XL would be bigger. You can tell the man has never had to buy pantyhose. So I put that on plus my stunning hospital gown that wouldn't really tie. Hook me up to the monitors & proceed to watch me.

I was having what they call interference contractions. I barely felt them at this point. The baby was moving a lot when we first got there, then calmed down. The nurse asked me a bunch of medical questions, yadda yadda. Then she decides it's time to see if I am dialated. Ok, my dr & nurse practitioner are so gently. Not this bitch! I swear she stuck her entire arm up there & she was up there for like 10 minutes. Was she hoping to pull him out? Anywho, no dialation. So it looked like I was headed home. Of course I got all emotional & just wanted to stay. It was actually a very comfy bed, unlike here. I have no recliner so I try to lay somewhat reclined with pillows & such but no such luck. Not to mention my couch sucks! It's got a low back so I can't even get comfy on that. I know it's a good thing that the baby stays in for more time but the pressure between my legs is so bad, I can barely walk.

I think I have earned the nickname that my h.s. gym teacher gave me "Weeble Wobble". I waddle so bad that I get on my own nerves! So after some tears, my ob/gyn said for me to go home. So I stopped to see my girlfriend who had her baby yesterday. Such a sweetheart. Then the Bobster & I left & we went to Burger King. That didn't really cheer me up, so my sister & I went to BRUS this evening & I got Ethan his thermometer & the CUTEST EVER OUTFIT with matching socks. OMG! So cute! That cheered me a little but now it's time for bed, so the pelvic pain will be in full force.

Say a prayer, thought, whatever that Ethan will like to make his debut soon! Sure I'm not fully packed but I just don't care anymore!

Got baby?

Nope, not yet. I dropped off my 24 hr urine analysis & got blood taken today at the lab. Guess the results for that will come in tomorrow. Then it was off to the ob/gyn for my non stress test & BP check.

The NST went well. My little bugger didn't move all day. She straps on the sensors for the NST & he decided to do the copacabana. Movin all over. So when the tech came in she said the NST was good & by the looks of it, we would not be having Ethan tonight. Then she asked me to lay on my left side for the nurse to come in to take my BP. Well I couldn't do it. The pain in my groin is so intense that I couldn't even turn over. It didn't matter anyway...my BP was normal. So no baby this evening.

I know it's a good thing. The longer he stays in the better but I am so uncomfortable, can't sleep & to be honest it feels as if my groin area was hit with 3 baseball bats. I just want a little relief but I know it's for the better.

So to console myself I treated myself to MickyD's for dinner. Had a Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese. YUM! I am sure I will swell up more than I have been in months b/c of all the salt but you know what???!!!??? It was worth it!

My sister came over & helped me pack my scrapbooking supplies today. The Bobster cleaned the bathroom & did some kitchen stuff for me. Thank goodness b/c I think my bathroom was getting ready to lock us out b/c of all the dirt. Wasn't pretty people! Not pretty at all.

So here I sit. Large & in charge watching Hell's Kitchen. Man alive, I love that Chef Ramsey! So keep me in your thoughts & prayers that I am able to get some relief tonight to sleep.

Annoyed & Boobs

First: Everything is annoying me today. From the sound of the a/c unit going on & off to just sitting here. I am annoyed & irritable.

Second: Boobs. They are mine. BACK OFF! Enough said.

Any other updates from me?
Hmm...moving in 10 days & I really need to pack.
Dr's visit tomorrow.
I would love to scrap.
Tired of just resting.
Weekend tv sucks.
Can you imagine getting board of the internet?
Generally bitchy & irritable.

My digi works!!
My digi works!!

I have no idea what was wrong with it but I put in some Shop Rite batteries & poof...it works. Hallelujiah!!!!

So what were the first photos I took? Me, of course.

Briana has been asking for some of me at 9 months preggy so here they are. I was going to grace you all with a naked belly shot but decided to spare you. Trust me, I look like a road map with all the stretch marks going on. Guess they are the battlewounds of pregnancy.

I am pretty low & I think, looking very similar to Shamu or Orka, take you pick!

So there ya have it. Me at 37 weeks!

Preggy Update:

Had my weekly visit today.
Not dialated.
Protein in urine.
Higher blood pressure.
Gained 2lbs. Total 26.5 now.

Dr. had me leave another urine sample so she could send out to the lab to make sure I do not have an infection.
Took my blood pressure before I left, down a little, but she didn't like it.
Have to do a 24 hour urine sample where I pee in a jug from Sunday to Monday.
Drop that off on Monday & get blood work done.
Then go back to the ob/gyn for a non stress test & bp check. If she doesn't like the results, off for a c-section I go.
Told me to relax this weekend.
Um, yea!
My house needs to be packed.
I am going to stay in bed all weekend & try to bribe my sister to come pack for me.
Ugh!

Zoloft

It's my friend, but also my enemy. I finally figured out it is the Zoloft that is messing with my sleep pattern. I forgot to take it night before last & I had a great nights sleep. Last night, I took it & was up every 2 hrs & finally woke up at 5:30 this morning for good. Sigh! It's helping me deal with the stress of my personal life so I love it but I am going to have to start taking it in the morning.

Other exciting news...hmm...sick today. To put it midly, I have to visit the bathroom quite often. I woke the Bobster up this morning & mentioned it to him & he said he had the same problem last night. We went to a local restaurant/bar for dinner & both had "Buffalo" things, he had a steak sandwich & I had wings. I had 5 wings but I guess it was enough to give me the ickies.

Got some packing done yesterday. So I am ahead, I suppose.
Today, not so much. It's 12 Noon & I am still in my pj's. No motiviation today, no motiviation at all.

Talked to the ob/gyn about moving my c-section up. It's a no go. Ethan needs to bake some more for his lungs to properly develop. He will be here soon. Like 15 days! OH MY GOSH! Are they really sending me home with a baby? Am I really going to be a mommy? Holy cow! Talk about overwhelming!

With that final thought, I will sign off.

Woops out!

Sunday, Sunday, Sundae

Notice the spelling difference? That is b/c the Bobster just made me a Sundae! Can you stand it? It's Phish food, Magic Shell & Whipped Cream. Chocolate overload but damn it's good! I couldn't eat all my dinner that he cooked. Yes he cooked. That's like 3x's this week. I can definitely eat all my Sundae tho. I mean I would give preggo's a bad name if I didn't eat the Sundae!!!

Speaking of pregnant women...I must be huge. The Bobster & my mom & sister say I am enormous. Good for the ego. Anyway yesterday we ran to Target then down the shore. Well while waiting outside Target for him to bring my chariot so I didn't have to walk in this God awful heat, I hear Hi! I turn & there is this chicky there & she says "When are you due?" So I give her the quick synopsis, tell her just how big Ethan is & she says "Girrrrrrrrrrrrl , 2 words for you....C-SECTION~!" Um, yea!

Then we go down the shore & stop at a diner on the way home for dinner. I walk in, the hostess who is prob. in her fifties, says how many, I say 4. She looks at me & says "OOOH, NO BOOTH FOR YOU!" Ok, I am seeing a pattern here! Then she tells me to please not give birth in her restaurant. Ok, not sanitary!!! Upon checking out I have a "mom-mom" ask me "Are you going to make it home?" So I give her the quick run down, yadda yadda, 10lbs, Aug 16th, yadda yadda. She agrees with everyone else & says I am not going to make it!

So I waddle out of the restaurant & the mom-mom & her friend are behind me about 3 feet. I hear them say "Oh look at her legs, look at her ankles, so swollen, poor thing" All that was missing was oiy've!

Of course, I forgot to mention that this pass Monday I went to Philly to meet friend's for lunch & as I waddled thru. the parking lot I hear "Oh Girl, you are huge!", "Girl, your dropped!", "Congratulations", "Oh she's gonna go anyday!"

Ok people! I am getting the big picture here. Yes I look like a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Where are my handlers????

So hopefully I will get him out a little sooner than the 16th. I go to the dr on Thursday & will talk to them then. We shall see. The child has a 10 cm size head....just like his Charlie Brown looking head of a father! & you know you only dialate to 10 cms. Hello! He will shred me to pieces if I go vaginal.

I don't know how the women did it back in the day. Like the 1800's. Workign the fields, taking care of the house, no air conditioning or indoor plumbing. It's a miracle the human race has survived!!

Now onto my other dilemma. My sleep pattern. I am getting up everyday at 4:30. Altho. last night I was sleeping just fine when the Bobster came in to go to sleep in our bed. He was in the living room sleepipng with Tim & Chris. Well he woke me up b/c I was smack in the middle & I couldn't get back to sleep. I actually had tears in my eyes & cried. I am so exhausted. I know it will get worse, the lack of sleep, once the bambino arrives but that is different. O well...no use complaining. I will be giving birth soon! So excited to see Ethan but very nervous about the c-section. Scarey stuff!

Enough rambling.

Baby Update

Ok, got a call last night. I have to go c-section b/c he is such a big boy.

This morning I got another call to let me know they have scheduled me for Aug 16th. This is my Schmeggy's birthday, so Ethan will be sharing his birthday with his "Aunt Meg". That is if I don't go into labor prior. Everyone thinks I will go earlier.

Last night he was right up against my right side. The bugger didn't move all night so it made laying down impossible. Not mention my pelvic region feels as if a cinderblock is lying on it! Oiy've!

So I guess in reality, it's any day now for him to make his grand arrival.

Woops, out!

35 weeks

Ok, not so bad. 35 weeks I am. That's the baby's profile & hand above. He likes to sleep very dramatically!

Anyway even tho. I am 35 weeks, I measure 39 weeks. I only gained 1/2lb this time. 24.5 lbs total....not too bad!

On another note, I had my u/s to measure to see an estimate of how big Ethan is as of today. Are you all sitting down????!!!!!????? He measures 9lbs 14oz! HELLO! I have 4 weeks to go. I will be giving birth to a toddler! The u/s tech said they will review my photos & talk to me next week. She said they do not induce before 37 weeks.

Now he is in position & my cervix is soft. The nurse practitioner said he is very low but I am not dialated. I guess he could come on his on at any minute. Guess I should do more of his wash. :>)

I have a feeling he is going to come the week I am supposed to move. Gots to get to packing!

Chubbies

Ok check those babies out. My God! Look at the cheeks. Altho. look at the cheeks on my Grandpop....CHUBS! All of them. Check out those twins. My dad & Uncle Lester. HOLY BALONEY....they were fat!
Is my little Ethan destined to have those cheeks???? Will he have roly poly arms with dimples in them? On could hope. Man, do I love chubs!

Now I must profusely apologize to my Aunt Darlene. I have to mention her so I have also posted a pic of her & my stylish mom back in the day. The pic was taken in the 60's. Before kids for both. Now what is my aunt doing.....she is a truck drivin mama! That's right big ole cab, long trailer & naked girly mudflaps! So if you see her on the road, watch out! I love my Aunt Darlene...she bought me Chinese shoes when my mom said no! Now that's an Aunt for ya.

On a side note, let me just say, since this is my blog, I can blog about what I want, so I will just say that the dry spell is over, the river has opened! Yes, cryptic but think hard & you will get it ;>)

#67 & Pre-Registered

Ah, I was challenged to do the scraplift challenge at www.just4keeps.com so I said OK. Well while we had the girls today, they took a nap, yea! & I scrapped. For some reason tho. my scanner cuts off the bottom of the layout so you can't see the doodles. The circles in the middle of the circle spell "MILLER." My mom's last name. So yes, that is the Nana & her hubby. I went very freestylin with this layout. I don't know if I truely like it or not but it's a good photo of them. Plus it's #67 for the year & my goal was 60. I put all my stuff away tho. Got tired of looking at it. I have to go through it again & again & put stuff in a bag for freecycle. Less to move.

I pre-registered last night at like 1am for the hospital. That's done, so now when I go in with labor pains they will just confirm with me, instead of asking me to fill it all out. Nice service Virtua Health Voorhess provides!

Not feeling to great today. Upsetting day. My whole body hurts, especially the pelvic region. OUCH! I get tired just sitting up but lying down is uncomfy too. Well no more complaining from me. I will just keep it to myself & go about my business. For now anyway!~

Waiting for my 2 best friends to pick me up. They are taking me to On the Border for my birthday, which is Sunday. Send presents! Hee hee.

Must run, I think the baby just kicked my bladder so hard it fell out!

Christmas In July

Here is a sneaky peeky of a layout I did for the newsletter for www.theuntamedscrapper.com It's the Aftermath one. The Christmas Joy one is actually for a challenge that was issued at www.scrapbookjungle.com & www.just4keeps.com & fit in with the theme at Untamed. I killed like 3 birds with one stone on that layout. Anyway the first one is just all the wrapping leftover from Christmas morning. The other one, well shield your eyes, I know I am not pretty when in the morning. Hee hee. You know what? I don't care! I scrap everything. That's how my family sees me, so why not show the blogging world!

Non scrap related....this staying home thing is working out. I am back to watching Days of Our Lives & I must say that they brought back Steve & Kayla. Oh yea, I am happy as a pig in poop. The last time anyone saw Steve, he was dead. Really , tho., is anyone ever dead on soaps. The last scene you saw was his coffin being switched out with another one. Dun, dun, dun! Yes, you have figured it out. He has amnesia & doesn't remember anything, other than waking up in a bar with a name, different of course, & no memory of his previous life. Alas, his wife Kayla is trying to help him remember & thinks that Stefano DiMeara is behind his memory loss. Now that should be interesting if they try to bring Stefano back b/c the actor that plays him & should be the only one to play him, died. O well. For the next 10 weeks or so....I will be watching this. Then I am going to have to start to tape it!

Consesus is saying that I am going to go early. I've dropped. I thought I dropped the other day but Bobby said no. Two days later, he's like "Oh wow...you dropped!" He gives me three weeks. My mom says I am going early as well. Guess I should pack a bag & get the diaper bag ready. I guess they are really going to send me home from the hospital with a baby! Um, don't they know I can't even maintain a silk plant? So anyone who wants to come by & help, feel free!

Woops out!

HOME

I am home now. Wasn't supposed to go out til July 28th but my ob/gyn took pity on me last night & wrote me out. Adema & depression. She even gave me a script for Zoloft. Not sure if I will take it. I am not getting paid b/c the state will not recognize those two reasons as good enough to be out of work but I am home now, so I can pack & take it at my own pace. Which is similar to a snails, except slower.

In this state you get 4 weeks before & 6 weeks after. Now, of course, my paperwork hasn't even been sent to the state yet & with the state being shut down for a week, well we all know the word 'BACKLOG'. Yes, yes, must love living in NJ.

Sundae

See that up there...that is a sundae. Now the sundae that I make looks nothing like that BUT I put my heart & soul into it. I keep ice cream in the house now along with magic shell (gots to have the shell!), whipped cream, which is requested & I lovingly buy weekly although I am happy with coolwhip & even started to keep marachino cherries in the house.

About 3x's a week I will ask my beloved, "Honey I am going to make sundae, would you like one?" "Oh you are?" all wide eyed & innocent he asks "Sure would you make me one?" So I skip to the kitchen with the bunnies & mice following me, while butterflies fly around my head & I make my sundae & his. I make good sundaes too. Just the right amount of magic shell.

Now imagine my surprise when about 10 minutes ago, Honeypie leaves the room. So I yell, can you get me some kool aid. Oh no honey we are out of kool aid. Apparantly the recipe for Kool Aid was lost in the great firework capades that must have occured over the weekend. So I lovingly replied "That's ok, can you bring me some water".

Here is where the night goes bad. He comes in & hands me my water. What a sweetheart correct? NOPE! He then says to me "Honey could you turn that light on?" Now this is questionable b/c Stevie Wonder watches tv in the dark, so I say "Sure", as I turn it on I turn to look at him & do you know what he is doing......??????!!!!!!????

The RAT BASTARD is eating a SUNDAE!!!!!! YES A FREAKIN SUNDAE!!! Apparantly it is too difficult to ask his pregnant, swollen, will do anything for him, makes him a sundae at the drop of a hat, BABY'S MAMA (b/c we all know how I love that term!) if I would like a sundae. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He just sat there & sucked it up! Smacked those lips like it was his last supper. While I sat here, drinking my warm water since honeypie never put any ice in it! So there you have it. He even was laying in bed, sucking down the ice cream sundae laying on my pillows. RAT BASTARD I TELL YOU!

This is my life!

HELLO CLARICE!

BAAAHAAAHAAA
Prada & Brownie Batter

I rock! Yes, I do, yes I do. Why? Because I let Chris & Dan lick the batter from the Brownies I made today (which by the way, are very, very good!)
See my mom would probably have some sort of kniption fit at this. Per her, their are raw eggs in that & that could cause a case of salmonella. Now I didn't let them eat the batter, just lick the spoon & bowl. Dan took 2 licks & called it a day. Chris went to town. Now call me crazy but in my 35 years I have never heard of anyone getting salmonella from eating the batter. So as a child, I got to lick occasionally but my mom always stood there, waiting to pounce, so I didn't lick too much when I did lick. So I have to tell the Nana, that when Ethan is old enough to lick, he will lick. I will lick. I did not lick today. I held back just b/c of the raw egg...I didn't want Ethan to get sick. Never know what it could do to the forming child. So see mom, I do listen, somewhat.

Now Prada~! Went & saw The Devil Wear Prada. I loved it. I read the book & they made a lot of changes but I loved it. I even liked Meryl Streep in it & I hate her! Her & Dennis Hopper are the 2 worse actors in Hollywood in my opinion. I mean they aren't bad it's just that I hate them. The boys saw the new Superman & every one of them said it sucked! Sucked so bad they wanted to leave. O well. Live & learn.

Showers & The ER

I had my shower on Sunday. It couldn't have been more perfect! My sister did an outstanding job. I got tons of stuff, the food was great & the hall was decorated wonderfully.

All the most important people in my life where there. Those that weren't either had a very good excuse or just didn't RSVP. O well.

As for the ER. Yea, ended up there yesterday with pain in my back so severe I cried & in my chest. Ends up it's gallstones! Oiyve! Just what I needed.

Short but sweet! Woops out!

HUMAN PIN CUSHION

Yes, that was me yesterday. I had to have my 3 hr. Gluoca Test done. I thought they were just going to prick my finger & out I would go. Yea, um, not so much. I get there, they take some blood, then every hour for 3 hours they take some more. They got 3 viles out of my left arm but the last vile was taken out of my right b/c the left collapsed. I am so bruised, looks as if I was beaten with a baseball bat! I had my own waiting room tho. They told me I was a preferred customer. It had a recliner, magazines & a tv w/ cable. I watched The Baby Story.

Yea, let's discuss this whole labor & delivery thing. I was all over the water birth action til I found out. . . no epidural! Not gonna happen. Next I see women get the epidural & still have pain. So I have decided that I am not sure how "Ethan Michael" will make his grand debut but I'm not pushing him out & I am not too keen on a c-section!

Still dealing with personal issues that are really bothering me. I just feel like I am pushed to the side or better yet taken for granted. I don't know what to do about it. I have discussed it with the person but it get's better for like an hour. It's getting harder & harder to deal with, so I don't know if it's the extra pregnancy hormones or I just can't take it. Time will tell, right?

So long since I blogged.

I bet my Aunt Patty is checking in here wondering why there have been no new entries. Just busy or lazy or nothing to write.

The above photo is my nursery theme. Is it not the cutest!!!???? I was just on ebay searching for stuff to go with it & found the cutest pegboard that is part of the theme. I bid on it! It was only 9.99....I doubt I will get outbidded & if I do, watch out, because I don't take highly to being outbidded!

I stayed home from work today. 4th sick day in 5 weeks. I just couldn't do it. I feel like I am an old lady. To all you women who have been pregnant before why is it, when newly preggy women say we are pregnant, you say Congrats & leave it at that? Hello, McFly...you need to tell us about the fact that your belly hurts on a daily basis, the your who-who feels as if it is swollen to the size of a football & if you try to move you usually experience shooting pains or how about when you lay in one position at night for too long, you suddenly feel as if arthrites has set in. Come on girls, do a PSA & let the women who have never been preggy before know! Not to mention, the mood swings. Altho. lately I have been experiencing more depressive mood swings. Just a lot going on in my personal life & I feel like it's all on my shoulders & if I don't do it, then it won't get done.

News on my bil: He had surgery Tues. He is alert & awake & they expect he will only loose 50-60% rotater movement of his neck BUT he has use of his arms & legs. He will have to go to therapy tho! They are talking about possibly sending him home in a few days. WoW! They don't let you wallow in self pity do they?

I have my gluoca test tomorrow. I failed the first one...CAN YOU STAND IT!!?????!!!! Tomorrow is the 3hr one...wish me luck! Then it's off to work. So to make matters worse, I call out today & I will be 3hrs late tomorrow. They are really understanding but I don't want to take advantage. I think I have about 5 weeks left before I can leave on maternity. I am so looking forward to it. I am thinking "Ethan" is going to make his arrival either Aug 28th (which will be our one year anniversary together....yea, talk about moving quickly!) or sometime over the Labor Day weekend. The momma instinct in me is saying Labor Day weekend! I guess he get's here, when he get's here.

I used my Amazon Reward g/c last night. I got this new scrapbook idea book by Laurie Stamos called Artful Memories...been eyeing that bad boy up for awhile & I ordered Clean & Simple the Sequel by Cathy Zielske. The latter shipped today. Can't wait to get my hot little hands on it. Gosh knows I need more idea books. I'm an idea book junkie! I admit it. That's the first step isn't it????

Elimination, Father's Day & Prayers

Well, that my friends, is my suck ass layout that I entered into Round II at www.just4keeps.com We had to use symbols & shapes. I couldn't think of squat so that's what I came up with. As you can tell by my writing I was eliminated. That's ok tho. So much to do this week that I probably couldn't have done the challenge anyway. I was surprised to make it to Round II.

Today is Father's Day. Having my dad over for brunch. I made "Stuff French Toast" & "Funeral Potatoes". All while suffering from ham hock feet & the baby pinching my sides. O well, that French Toast stuff is soooooooo worth it. I will post the recipe later. Megan made it for our dinner club & OMG! FAB-U-LOUS! We were going to go to a carnival with the Bobster's dad but plans have changed.

This is why I need your prayers. My bil to be is a dirt track race car driver. Last night he wrecked his car. Someone let him borrow his car for the "feature" race. Sadly Chucky wrecked that car. It left him unconcious & he had to be airlifted to a local hospital. He became alert but the dr's found that he broke his neck. As of last night, he could move his body parts BUT the dr's said that once the swelling goes down that could all change & he could be paralyzed. The family is indeed upset! Bobby thinks if he had been at the races that wouldn't have happened. Bobby stayed home b/c we have the boys & Chris has a high temperature. They are going to be transporting him to the University of Jefferson in Philly. This hospital specializes in spinal cord injuries. On another note, even tho. he has health insurance, it doesn't cover racing accidents. He didn't have racer's insurance either. Right now no one is worried about the medical costs, we all just want Chucky to recover. So anyone who reads my blog, please keep him in your prayers. This is going to be a scarey time for the family.

New Layout:

Whose that you ask? That is the Schmegg. My Schmeggy.
I did this layout for Round 1 of Last Scrapper Standing at www.just4keeps.com
This layout was to include doodling that was inspired by henna tattoos.
I must have done an ok job b/c I am advancing to round 2. Yea me!

Nothing new in the scrapworld. Got my new Simply Scrapbooks mag yesterday. Haven't madeit pass page 25.

I am getting a free subscription to Scrapbook Answers mag b/c the website I ordered the Bobster's mag from, never sent it & I pitched a fit. I ended up talking to the VP of the website who straightened everything out & got me a free sub for my troubles. I wanted my money back but the free sub is just as good, considering I buy the mag anyway.

I will be going through mags & idea books soon. Have to get rid of stuff. Less stuff to move!

I am 29 weeks today. Do you know that means less than 11 weeks til my due date? HOLEY MOLEY! I don't think I can get any bigger. Although every tells me I will.

My groin is killing me. Not to mention my nightly pee schedule. That is so fun. As of Thursday none of my shoes but my Sketchers fit me. Yes my feet now look like ham hocks. Even if I don't eat salty foods. Did you know yogurt has like 150mg's of sodium in it? Yea, shocked the bejeezes out of me. BTW, WaWa's Low Fat yougurt is scrumpdiddliumptious. If you are in the area of a WaWa, try some. Y ou will love it.

For those not in the know...WaWa is a convenient store that rocks the Delaware Valley. They are branching out I hear so look for one coming soon to your area.

Feeling

a little better today than I have been. Still don't want to get out of bed in the morning but this too shall pass.

Well, I am moving. When you ask? Well, Aug 15th. Nothing like cutting it close. Where you want to know? To the place I grew up. One block from my mom & 7 minutes from my dad. We got a 3 bedroom townhouse. It's an older complex so I do't have all the amenities BUT my son will have his own room & that is really, super important to me. So for anyone who is wondering what to buy me for my shower.....please pic the decor for the bedroom from my registry. *Subtle hint* I tried to get the complex to let me in as early as possible since the raspberry is due on Aug 26th but if I go into labor & deliver, The Bobster will have to move himself! BAAHAAHAA!

Ok, so noone told me that the further you get along in your pregnancy, the more uncomfortable it is to lie down & sleep. Do you know I actually have to sit up to turn over & my belly hurts so bad, that I groan & grunt all night long. I am still swelling but my blood pressure is good. I go Monday night for my gluca test. Wish me luck. I am a carb addict.

Did a little scrapping tonight. Made my goal of 60 layouts for the year! YES! I would share the layout but I am in the Last Scrapper Standing III contest @ www.just4keeps.com, so my layout needs to be voted on. If you are a member there, go check out the competition. The votes will be going on through the weekend, I think. I need to go through all my mags & idea books & get rid of stuff. The less stuff to move the better. Not too mention I won't have as much space as I do know. I will be I won't. Closet space is at a premium in this townhouse plus the 3rd bedroom will be for Tim & Chris. They will actually have a place to keep all the video crap (I mean...stuff) & they can play in their room or actually go outside & play on the grass. My townhome is directly across from the community pool. It closes 2 weeks after we move in BUT the kids can make use of it, til then. Not to mention there is a playground right across the street. It's a nice area. I hope to be there just a year & then get a house but if I am there longer, then so be it.

Was watching Chris Botti live tonight on PBS. He is such a cutie & so talented. He is the one thing I learned to like when married to F&cko! He was such a big fan, played his CD's over & over & took me to see him so many times in concert that I feel in love with Chris Botti & his music. I actually harbour a secret crush on his bass player & F*cko knew it. I think it bothered him. BAAHAAHAA! The Bobster is not into Chris Botti or music like that. He is a true country boy with a little rap mixed in for good measure. I am actually starting to like some of the country music, like that song by Mr. Easy on the Eyes, Brad Paisley, "Alcohol". Fun tune! Then you have "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy". I like that one too!

I want

to go far away. I want to get away from it. I need time b/c I just can't take it anymore.

Monday, May 29, 2006

Here I sit....

miserable. Why? Hmmm...1st & foremost I have diaper rash. It's the only way to describe it. It hurts so bad that I can barely walk. I even bought Desitin & put it on. No relief, although it took about 5 minutes of scrubbing with the nail brush & soap to get it off my fingers. Must be water resistant.

I can't get comfy. Nope. Doesn't matter what I do. The belly hurts. It seems like it's going to be a long way until August.

Most of all, I came to realize today that I just can not get ahead. No matter what I do, I can't get my child what I want for him. (He's not even here yet). All the places I look at to rent are soooooooooooo expensive & to buy a home is the same or more money. You would think 15K to put down would help you. NOPE! They tell you they want 10% or more. Of course I am looking at houses that I like but are not what I really want. I want the big house, with the big yard & the beautiful kitchen etc. I know it takes time to get these things but I just don't get the people who are my age or younger & have it. I have worked had to get where I am at. I endured a loveless marriage (altho. not on my end), I endured an icky divorce and a firing. I know I'm whining but today is the day for whining. Sorry.

Then I price cribs. Holy Moley.....stay clear of BabyUSA & Bellini. You might as well take out a mortgage for the crib.

I want to be married. Yes, I know, closing the barn door after the horse got out but I would feel better about myself & for my son if moi & his father were married before he was born. Even if it's only a month before his debut, I would feel better. Now you might ask what the hold up is, hmph. Someone needs to get HIS divorce papers. It's only the matter of taking two minutes to write the letter but it falls on me. *SIGH* Guess I should just bite the bullet & do it. Once they arrive we have to apply for the license. EZ Peasy right? Sure if we could both have an aftermoon or a morning off to do it. Then again we just started new jobs, so you do the math!

Most of all, I am very, very upset that I will not be able to be SAHM. That's what I wanted. That's what I think is best for the baby but sadly, no can do. I don't know how people do it. I know there are plenty of people in the world who make what we do or even less & they manage. HOW???? What is the magic trick???? Someone tell me. Although if I can't find daycare, I will end up being a SAHM. I would even take a WAHM, but that's not an option for me, at least not yet. Maybe in the future.

I must be in a nesting mode today. I spent the day in front of the TV watching the Food network. Ask anyone I know & they will tell you, Meghan doesn't watch the food network, Meghan doesn't really cook.
Well I surprised everyone, I cooked dinner tonight. Sure hamburgers & fries but lately in my house, it's been cereal. Would have prob. been cereal tonight but 1. I had the guilts for not really cooking laterly & 2. We are out of cereal.

Woops, out!

Kamikazee!

Yes, you read it right, Kamikazee.
See, yesterday I left for lunch. I am driving down the residential street, minding my business when all of a sudden a thud hits my window. Well I thought it was a rock, that's how hard it hit...then I noticed the bird poop. Of course I had stopped the car. I see something laying in the road so I back the mini van up. It looked like a rock & I thought maybe a kid was in a tree or something. Out of the van I go. Over the to the rock. To my horror, not a rock but a bird. Not any type of bird either....it was KAMIKAZEE BIRD. A bird who decided to die for his cause. The cause to poop where ever he wants (obviously the choice at the moment was my minivan) So I drove to lunch w/ a heavy heart b/c I felt as if I had killed Kamikazee.

Well, not to be outdone by Kamikazee Bird, we have Kamikazee Squirell. It appeared that while I was at lunch, word got out the my mini van was the death spot of choice. I was driving back, minding my business, when all of a sudden Rocket J. Squirell, does the dash-----the dash for the tires of my mini van. I was too smart, I slowed done & slightly swerved. His death wish was diverted by my 2 steps ahead thinking. I was not going to be a serial Kamikazee killer on my lunch hour. So I adverted killing him. If he chose someone else's minivan to die under, then so be it. What he cause was, I have no idea. Maybe it had something to do with his nuts....most guys would die for their nuts & Kamikazee's are usually male, so I think my squirell was dying for his nuts.

Tuesday & a challenge

Here I sit, getting more pregnant as the day goes on. It's not pretty people. It's starting to show in my face, I can't keep my balance, my groin hurts. I am a mess. All I want to do is cry. Although I do giggle through out the day when I feel my little raspberry rolling around in there, sometimes it even tickles. :)

Movie review: Over the Hedge. Cute, funny. More oriented to kids but definitely family worthy!

Now onto the challenge. Erica wants us to list what we wanted out of life 10 years ago.

I wanted to be married, with children. I am on my way!
I wanted to be a stay at home mom, Not on my way there but one never knows where life may lead you.
I wanted to be happy...I am, for the most part.
I wanted Jimmy Proud to be my husband, so if you are out there Jimmy & reading my blog....YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MISSED OUT & I hope you are happy with Missy! Yep! Tell her I called her Missy, I know she just loves that nickname.

Woops, out!

So we have 2 layouts that I personally think suck, those would be the Steelers ones, then the one I like is in the middle. Not how I uploaded it but what can you do.

I guess I don't really hate them. I think the Steelers patch & helmet are way cool. I know the boys will like it. I saw the Steelers stuff today at my lss & knew I had to get them for these layouts. I think what it is, is that I don't have patterned paper on there or lots of embellishments. They are "Scrapbook Simple" I just have to get used it.

Today was a beautiful day here in NJ. Sun shining, not hot but not cool, good breeze. Ah, yes, perfect day. I visited my Grandpop in the hospital. Gangreen he has. YUCK! He looks a lot better than last time I saw him. His color is better & he seems more alert. My dad said the dr. changed his meds. so he is more upbeat etc.

I am getting huge! My belly by the end of the day HURTS. I guess from the strain of the weight. I so have to get one of those bands that helps support the weight. Plus Ethan really likes to hang out on my right side. Must be more comfy there. Of course, he does like to dance the tango on my bladder. That makes for an interesting time!

There are only 2 episodes left of Big Love. I love that show. Yes, the church says we shouldn't watch it & every week I have to explain to the Bobster that no my Mom is not one of 3 wives & no we are not associated with that religion. I try to tell him how they are more of a "cult" & how they decided they wanted to follow the polygamy teachings, after it was not to be practiced anymore. Gets exhausting. Anywho, they touch on the church but they don't. The majority of the show is about how the women & the husband interact. I do cringe when a lot of the church stuff does come up but I take it with a grain of salt. I know the church is true & that is all the matters.

Just rented "Just like Heaven" on On Demand. It was ok. Glad I didn't waste my time on it at the movies. Want to see the Davinci Code but the movies right by my house had protesters at it the other night, not to mention the town I live in uses the movies as a babysitting service. I like kids, I tolerate preteens, but gaggles of them making noise is not my idea of a nice relaxing evening at the movies.

Woops, out!

Random Thoughts & Things

1st things first: That's my boy up there. I have to scan the the actual ultrasound pics or the Nana's head will explode. I totally love that paper!!! It's a lot plainer of a layout than I usually do but simple & clean seemed to fit the bill for it!

2nd: Movie Review: Poseidon. 90 or so minutes of my life that I will never get back. Sure I read the reviews. I had never seen the original except for one part over & over again but the previews for the new one seemed to suck me in. The special effects are great but I was just so disappointed with the whole thing. The acting is less than stellar, I thought the little boy was annoying and for me, that could never happen in real life. The people going out on there own that is. A ship capsizing, sure, but people planning their own escape & holding their breathe for what seemed like hours, nope, not gonna happen.

3rd: My cleaning lady was here again this Monday. I got home at 5. Bobster had been home already. Actually surprised poor Kate. She cleaned great but by Monday night my house looked like a bomb hit it. Work boots in the hallway, big chunks of dirt off of them, ice tea drops on the floor & counter, dirty glasses in the sink, towels all over the place. Now mind you, I came home & sat on the computer for a few hours so this mess was not made by moi. Yes, yes, the Bobster is a true slob!

4th & final: My kitchen cabinets & refrigerator sing Barbra Streisand "Memories" every time I walk in there. I haven't been food shopping since Easter Sunday. Yesterday Bobby actually resorted to eating SPAM. Um, yea, better him then me! Wouldn't touch the stuff. Is it even food? or chemically enhanced biproducts of God knows what???? YUCK!

That's all. I'm outtie!

My little athlete

Ok, let me just tell you about my raspberry. He is all over the place. The kid is definitely an athlete in the making. Does this mean I should have dreams of a pro career for him? Dreams that he will put his lovely mommy up in a gorgeous home?? I especially like when he kicks my bladder. Sweet!

Today was the longest day at work. I ran out of things to do. Not bad but I am tired to begin with so when you are sitting at your desk & your eyelids are getting heavy, it doesn't look professional to be drooling & snoring when the "higher ups" walk by.

Is it just me or does anyone else love the commercial for Dunkin Donuts with the kitchy song? You know the one I mean. "The back of my legs....sticking to the pleather" Man, I LOVE IT! I know, I'm a dork!

So what creative thing have you done lately? Me, nada. I suck. I can't figure out how to be creative lately. Give me some ideas everyone!!

The Humpty Dance, it's your dance, do the HUMP!

Thanfully, it's Wensday...Hump day! I like my job but it is getting a little boring. I can only stare into space for so long. I am stretching out making phone calls to collect money b/c I only have so many to do. I have some orders to change & such but a lot of the stuff is being given to the new girl. She started this Monday. Nice girl. Sweet.

What else....hmmm....the right side of my mouth feels as if my braces were just tightened & I had dental work done. I have an appt. on Monday to see my dentist. Wish me luck that it's not route canal!

Had another ob/gyn appt. last night. Everything is good. They got the results back from my Level II ultrasound. My dr. asked me if they had gone over the fact that the baby has a small sternum. UM NO! NO MENTION OF IT! Apparantly it's nothing to really worried about. She said everything else is great & most likely the small sternum is a heart murmer or nothing at all. She said they wouldn't do anything about it anyway now & the baby would have to show symptoms of it when he get's here to do anything. She said she doubts it's anything to worry about. His heartbeat is great and he's very active. So active that he hits my bladder several times a day. OIYVE!

That's all she wrote. I'm beat!

Wel, there are a few more pages left to this masterpiece, cough, cough, but unfortunately blogger would only allow me to upload this many.

I used my stash on this! I had an old K&Co Tag album that had just the right pages for my sixteenth birthday party photos. I used paper my dad bought me off of QVC eons ago & I think the only new thing I used were the Prima flowers, but they are so stinkin cute how could you not use them, ya know? I mean really!

This took me Sat & Sun. I started on NSD...what did you make this pass NSD? Come on, now, share with me!!!

For those that guessed other than #3 you are wrong.
The only one that got it right, besides my parents, was Teri Lynn! WTG girlie!
The Bobster didn't even get it right. He only got it right on the second guess b/c he said I was the baby with the second biggest head.
NICE!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
Woo hoo!

What are you doing?
Scrapping?
Cropping?
Taking photos.

So far it's 7:45 & I haven't scrapped at all. I did stop at my lss & buy myself some stuff. I couldn't let the day go by with a treat ya know.

The layout there....that is made with the
www.scrapbookjungle.com 's sponser of the month...Crate Paper. Can I say...the paper is "Da Bomb!" It's like crack, only less expensive & doesn't rot your teeth! Remember, one must have teeth or at least a facsimile of them.

I spent the day taking photos. My Godson's turns one on Monday & his mommy had a small "parents" only party for him. The Grandparents & Godparents only. It was nice. Only thing that sucked was it was outside. Yep, had an asthma attack, my throat hurt, my nose was on fire, my eyes burned & my ears itched. It's a blast having allergies. Oh how I love them. I spent most of the time indoors in her a/c. I feel better now. Thankfully.

Stopped at Motherhood & gots me 2 more maternity shirts. This should hold me over til the "boy" makes his debut. Of course, how he is getting out I have no idea. Labor & delivery doesn't really appeal to me. C-section, hmm, not so much. Maybe they can knock me out like they did in 40's. I will let you all know what I opted for when he gets here.

Ok, gonna go try to scrap while the "boys" are gone. All of them. Off to the dirt track for some racing. Again, teeth optional at these events & if you have a mullet....well hot diggity dog, you are in fashion at the dirt track!

Did you think I fell off the earth?

Nope. Just running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Bought a car. Pics to follow soon. Have to get them to fix somethings. I actually succombed & bought preowned. Didn't want to but the deal was too good to pass up plus the mileage & warranty are fantastic. What did I get you asked?

Chrysler Town & Country MiniVan.

I went looking for an SUV but ended up with the minivan. I guess with the two older boys plus the new little one soon to arrive, the minivan was the best bet. Lots of room & it drives nice.

What else? What else? Hmmm...had another ultrasound this week. Haven't scanned the photos b/c I suck but I took the Nana with me. She didn't get to see him on the u/s yet unlike his daddy & aunt. The poor Nana, she needs to wear her glasses more often. There was the u/s tech, me & the baby on the screen. All of a sudden my boy decides to show off his goods. Well, let me just say, that if I didn't know beforehand, there is no mistaking it now. It's huge! I mean MY GOD I didn't think they made them that big on a baby. Well all of a sudden my mom goes "Where is it? I can't see it." The u/s tech turned to her & said "YOU CAN"T SEE IT!?" It's sad really. She's blind as a bat but once the pic came out she saw it. You couldn't miss it!

I put the "Bobster" on the envelope system. He is horrible at sticking to a budget. It's as if the money turns to water in his hand. He should take that show on the road. It's a shame "That's Incredible" is off the air. His trick of money into water would have done great. I don't know what to do, it's so hard to get him to stick to a budget. Sigh. Guess he is going to have to whore himself out. Any bidders???? Anyone at all!!!???? Trust me, it's worth it. I know, TMI!

Ok, off to find my Amazon g/c so I can get a new scrapbook idea book!
