Rambles, Mutterings & Rants

Superboy up there slept til noon today.
Ah, must be nice.
I remember being 15, I wasn't allowed to sleep til noon.
That Nana, she was a tough one.

Not much has been going on here.
Been sick since Thursday.
Had a 102.8 fever & intestinal issues.
Then Friday I felt better, went to work & 30 mins into my work day I had to leave.
Felt achey & still had the intestinal issues.
Today I am still achey & fighting the intestinal issues.
Good freakin times!

Now I would like to address something.
Something that plagues millions of drivers in the world.
Mainly those on freeways, highways, interstates, whatever you would like to call them.
I want to know why when there is say a tow truck on the shoulder of the road, hitching up a disabled car, that everyone must go 15 miles an hour so they can gawk.
Don't get me wrong, I am a nosey Nellie just like the rest of you
BUT
at the end of the day I want to go home.
And seriously, I could care less about a car getting towed.
If you are that concerned, pull over & help out!
Let those of us who need to pick up the little ones from daycare, then go home & cook dinner, do laundry & bathe little ones get home!

Also, rain.
It's rain people.
It's not dense fog in blackout conditions.
It's rain.
Water.
Wet.
That's it.
It doesn't require you to go 25 mph under the speed limit.
Unlike yourselves I do not have the luxury of arriving to work at my leisure.
I have a time schedule to keep & if everyone just watches the road, the people around them & maintains the speed limit in these conditions we will all arrive safely at our destinations.

On another note, never spray paint in windy conditions.
Don't ask why I know this.
Just take my word for it.

Woops out!

Hope you are feeling better :)

And I feel ya on the traffic bit. Don't get my started with what's it like when we get a dusting of snow. The world comes to a screeching halt. It's PA people not FL. We get snow.....remember.

Jodi

I was never allowed to sleep til noon, until I moved out of my parents house at 17.5 years old. lol Sorry that you have been sick. Hope that you feel better soon.

Lissa Ballard

I hear ya on all counts, sleep and traffic!

Hope you're feeling much better Meghan. You need some of what my friends (Susan Seidenberg) called "Jewish Penicillin".... good old fashioned Chicken noodle soup...
