I am proud today I am a true Jersey girl.
Born & bred.
Nothing has made me more proud, today, then knowing New Jersey has become yet another state that has legalized gay marriage.
You go NJ! You go!
I am sure I will lose some readers because of this post.
You know what? Buh-bye!
Here's the thing...everyone deserves to be happy.
It is not for us to judge what is right or wrong. That is for Heavenly Father and Jesus.
The only difference is between a straight person and a gay person is what goes on behind closed doors & honestly, that's none of my business. Everything else is the same. We all put our pants on one leg at a time, we all wear coats if it's cold, we all have to eat/drink to survive and most of all, we all want to be happy & loved.
So now, thanks to the new legalization, everyone in the state of NJ can be fully happy.
For those that are more religiously zealous than others, see the comment above about not judging. Tsk. Tsk.
So this LDS girl, whose straight, in a loving relationship and a mom to three is thrilled that her friends can get married and be happy.

I highly recommend...
For those of you who have been reading the ole bloggeroo for awhile (like my mom...HI NANA!) you know I love to read.
We have a little library in our dept. at work.
I found this little gem in the box:
This is a page turner
BUT
No for reasons you would think.
It's not suspenseful, it's not romantic...it just is.
It just is an extremely wonderful emotional rollercoster ride.
The story of a man, who lives alone, runs an orchard and is getting along ok.
Two young girl wonder into his orchard and life is never the same for him.
I didn't want this story to end.
That's when you know it's a good book...you are so involved in the characters lives that you want to k now what goes on after the book ends.
If I were you I'd check this one out. I almost cried (but I was reading at work..shhh! don't tell).
What have you been reading lately?
