This one is a fun one & so easy to do.

Of course,that is Cheeks up there.
In his Gymboree outfit that I bought him & paid full price for.
He wore it 3x's & it cost me over $80.
I have since learned my lesson on overspending.
But for the Love of God, he looked so darn cute in it!


Anyway, you can see where I got his nickname.

Monday, Monday & a meme (Thanks Julie!)

It's Cyber Monday people!
Are you getting in on the deals today?
I am planning on hitting up Dicks for something for TimBob. They are offering 25% off one item. For this particular item it will come in handy.


The holiday weekend flew by.
We had assorted children here all weekend.
I did manage to fit in some scrapping, all the while telling Cheeks, no you can't play with scissors, don't tear mommy's paper, I said not to stick the stickers on the wall. I am such a mean mommy.

I am getting closer to getting my Xmas 2007 pics done before Xmas 2008 comes & goes. Guess it pays to be laid off. I will have scrapping done but a messy house & no money. It's all about priorities people!

Halloween Cupcakes for NCW & a Tag!!!

Let's continue our tribute to National Cupcake Week & to my ass getting bigger by just looking at these creations!

We will be visiting Halloweeny cupcakes today.

These look scrumptious & totally do-able. This one...freakin adorable. If you don't know how to make a cat, simply pop a small oreo on there, add some icing into a point, put a little icing bow on the hat & viola...witches hat to go with witches broom. Altho you could pull off the cat with some Oreo's. I can definitely see it!

Anywho (get it? Who! Who!..um, see above pic of owl cupcakes for reference if you don't get it), she tagged me to name 7 random facts so here it goes.

1. I didn't drive til I was 21
2. I live one block from where I grew up.
3. I was an only child for 13 yrs & 6 days.
4. I was almost named Peggy Sue or Wendy, thankfully the Nana put an end to that & the Grandpop's name choices were averted. Trust me, with my last name Wendy would not have been cool
5. I used to have a double piercing in each other but they closed up & keloids grew so much that I had to have them removed at
6. I can actually type & not look at the keyboard
7. I met Regis Philbin....oh that's right, don't hate!

A little Friday tag

Mom in High Heels tagged me!

So, here are 7 completely obscure things about me, I know you have all been waiting with baited breath!
1. See those lucious full (yet remarkably pale lips) up there, well when I was little, like 6 I think??? I was running & tripped & hit the wood handled of my dad's gold material rocker, splitting my upper lip like a mo~fo. To make matters worse, weeks later I was riding my Big Wheel when Marc Eisenman was on the back & fell forward causing me to resplit it. Rat Bastard! Anyway b/c of that I have a bump on my lip. Sure, sure, 30 yrs later it's almost disappeared but as a kid it caused my neighbor, Fritzie, to call me "Plunger Lips." I was pretty devasted by that name & have seeked therapy for it. Little did I know my mom thoroughly enjoyed that nickname & tried not laugh at me through my grief strickened tears.


2. My little sister & I are exactly 13 yrs & 6 days apart.



3. I have a birthmark on my pinky toe. Looks like I stepped in poo. Which is what my mom thought & she almost rubbed my pinky toe off when I was an infant. She just laughed & laughed about when she figured it out. (I am noticing a pattern her about how The Nana laughs at me & my "issues")

4. I have a secret (guess it's not now) crush on Chad Kroger from Nickelback. Sure, sure my sister says he looks like Jesus but I just think he is HOT!!!!!!!!! He also reminds me of an old coworker of mine from back in the day...Adam from Thriftway. Must be honest, I always thought Adam was really cute. Ok, for all of you who read my blog & know Adam....no throwing tomatoes at me!

5. I still have my tonsils.



6. I "heart" Mrs. Beasley & had this doll as a kid.
Loved her!
