Here I sit....

miserable. Why? Hmmm...1st & foremost I have diaper rash. It's the only way to describe it. It hurts so bad that I can barely walk. I even bought Desitin & put it on. No relief, although it took about 5 minutes of scrubbing with the nail brush & soap to get it off my fingers. Must be water resistant.

I can't get comfy. Nope. Doesn't matter what I do. The belly hurts. It seems like it's going to be a long way until August.

Most of all, I came to realize today that I just can not get ahead. No matter what I do, I can't get my child what I want for him. (He's not even here yet). All the places I look at to rent are soooooooooooo expensive & to buy a home is the same or more money. You would think 15K to put down would help you. NOPE! They tell you they want 10% or more. Of course I am looking at houses that I like but are not what I really want. I want the big house, with the big yard & the beautiful kitchen etc. I know it takes time to get these things but I just don't get the people who are my age or younger & have it. I have worked had to get where I am at. I endured a loveless marriage (altho. not on my end), I endured an icky divorce and a firing. I know I'm whining but today is the day for whining. Sorry.

Then I price cribs. Holy Moley.....stay clear of BabyUSA & Bellini. You might as well take out a mortgage for the crib.

I want to be married. Yes, I know, closing the barn door after the horse got out but I would feel better about myself & for my son if moi & his father were married before he was born. Even if it's only a month before his debut, I would feel better. Now you might ask what the hold up is, hmph. Someone needs to get HIS divorce papers. It's only the matter of taking two minutes to write the letter but it falls on me. *SIGH* Guess I should just bite the bullet & do it. Once they arrive we have to apply for the license. EZ Peasy right? Sure if we could both have an aftermoon or a morning off to do it. Then again we just started new jobs, so you do the math!

Most of all, I am very, very upset that I will not be able to be SAHM. That's what I wanted. That's what I think is best for the baby but sadly, no can do. I don't know how people do it. I know there are plenty of people in the world who make what we do or even less & they manage. HOW???? What is the magic trick???? Someone tell me. Although if I can't find daycare, I will end up being a SAHM. I would even take a WAHM, but that's not an option for me, at least not yet. Maybe in the future.

I must be in a nesting mode today. I spent the day in front of the TV watching the Food network. Ask anyone I know & they will tell you, Meghan doesn't watch the food network, Meghan doesn't really cook.
Well I surprised everyone, I cooked dinner tonight. Sure hamburgers & fries but lately in my house, it's been cereal. Would have prob. been cereal tonight but 1. I had the guilts for not really cooking laterly & 2. We are out of cereal.

Kamikazee!

Yes, you read it right, Kamikazee.
See, yesterday I left for lunch. I am driving down the residential street, minding my business when all of a sudden a thud hits my window. Well I thought it was a rock, that's how hard it hit...then I noticed the bird poop. Of course I had stopped the car. I see something laying in the road so I back the mini van up. It looked like a rock & I thought maybe a kid was in a tree or something. Out of the van I go. Over the to the rock. To my horror, not a rock but a bird. Not any type of bird either....it was KAMIKAZEE BIRD. A bird who decided to die for his cause. The cause to poop where ever he wants (obviously the choice at the moment was my minivan) So I drove to lunch w/ a heavy heart b/c I felt as if I had killed Kamikazee.

Well, not to be outdone by Kamikazee Bird, we have Kamikazee Squirell. It appeared that while I was at lunch, word got out the my mini van was the death spot of choice. I was driving back, minding my business, when all of a sudden Rocket J. Squirell, does the dash-----the dash for the tires of my mini van. I was too smart, I slowed done & slightly swerved. His death wish was diverted by my 2 steps ahead thinking. I was not going to be a serial Kamikazee killer on my lunch hour. So I adverted killing him. If he chose someone else's minivan to die under, then so be it. What he cause was, I have no idea. Maybe it had something to do with his nuts....most guys would die for their nuts & Kamikazee's are usually male, so I think my squirell was dying for his nuts.

Tuesday & a challenge

Here I sit, getting more pregnant as the day goes on. It's not pretty people. It's starting to show in my face, I can't keep my balance, my groin hurts. I am a mess. All I want to do is cry. Although I do giggle through out the day when I feel my little raspberry rolling around in there, sometimes it even tickles. :)

Movie review: Over the Hedge. Cute, funny. More oriented to kids but definitely family worthy!

Now onto the challenge. Erica wants us to list what we wanted out of life 10 years ago.

I wanted to be married, with children. I am on my way!
I wanted to be a stay at home mom, Not on my way there but one never knows where life may lead you.
I wanted to be happy...I am, for the most part.
I wanted Jimmy Proud to be my husband, so if you are out there Jimmy & reading my blog....YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MISSED OUT & I hope you are happy with Missy! Yep! Tell her I called her Missy, I know she just loves that nickname.

Woops, out!

So we have 2 layouts that I personally think suck, those would be the Steelers ones, then the one I like is in the middle. Not how I uploaded it but what can you do.

I guess I don't really hate them. I think the Steelers patch & helmet are way cool. I know the boys will like it. I saw the Steelers stuff today at my lss & knew I had to get them for these layouts. I think what it is, is that I don't have patterned paper on there or lots of embellishments. They are "Scrapbook Simple" I just have to get used it.

Today was a beautiful day here in NJ. Sun shining, not hot but not cool, good breeze. Ah, yes, perfect day. I visited my Grandpop in the hospital. Gangreen he has. YUCK! He looks a lot better than last time I saw him. His color is better & he seems more alert. My dad said the dr. changed his meds. so he is more upbeat etc.

I am getting huge! My belly by the end of the day HURTS. I guess from the strain of the weight. I so have to get one of those bands that helps support the weight. Plus Ethan really likes to hang out on my right side. Must be more comfy there. Of course, he does like to dance the tango on my bladder. That makes for an interesting time!

There are only 2 episodes left of Big Love. I love that show. Yes, the church says we shouldn't watch it & every week I have to explain to the Bobster that no my Mom is not one of 3 wives & no we are not associated with that religion. I try to tell him how they are more of a "cult" & how they decided they wanted to follow the polygamy teachings, after it was not to be practiced anymore. Gets exhausting. Anywho, they touch on the church but they don't. The majority of the show is about how the women & the husband interact. I do cringe when a lot of the church stuff does come up but I take it with a grain of salt. I know the church is true & that is all the matters.

Just rented "Just like Heaven" on On Demand. It was ok. Glad I didn't waste my time on it at the movies. Want to see the Davinci Code but the movies right by my house had protesters at it the other night, not to mention the town I live in uses the movies as a babysitting service. I like kids, I tolerate preteens, but gaggles of them making noise is not my idea of a nice relaxing evening at the movies.

Random Thoughts & Things

1st things first: That's my boy up there. I have to scan the the actual ultrasound pics or the Nana's head will explode. I totally love that paper!!! It's a lot plainer of a layout than I usually do but simple & clean seemed to fit the bill for it!

2nd: Movie Review: Poseidon. 90 or so minutes of my life that I will never get back. Sure I read the reviews. I had never seen the original except for one part over & over again but the previews for the new one seemed to suck me in. The special effects are great but I was just so disappointed with the whole thing. The acting is less than stellar, I thought the little boy was annoying and for me, that could never happen in real life. The people going out on there own that is. A ship capsizing, sure, but people planning their own escape & holding their breathe for what seemed like hours, nope, not gonna happen.

3rd: My cleaning lady was here again this Monday. I got home at 5. Bobster had been home already. Actually surprised poor Kate. She cleaned great but by Monday night my house looked like a bomb hit it. Work boots in the hallway, big chunks of dirt off of them, ice tea drops on the floor & counter, dirty glasses in the sink, towels all over the place. Now mind you, I came home & sat on the computer for a few hours so this mess was not made by moi. Yes, yes, the Bobster is a true slob!

4th & final: My kitchen cabinets & refrigerator sing Barbra Streisand "Memories" every time I walk in there. I haven't been food shopping since Easter Sunday. Yesterday Bobby actually resorted to eating SPAM. Um, yea, better him then me! Wouldn't touch the stuff. Is it even food? or chemically enhanced biproducts of God knows what???? YUCK!

That's all. I'm outtie!

My little athlete

Ok, let me just tell you about my raspberry. He is all over the place. The kid is definitely an athlete in the making. Does this mean I should have dreams of a pro career for him? Dreams that he will put his lovely mommy up in a gorgeous home?? I especially like when he kicks my bladder. Sweet!

Today was the longest day at work. I ran out of things to do. Not bad but I am tired to begin with so when you are sitting at your desk & your eyelids are getting heavy, it doesn't look professional to be drooling & snoring when the "higher ups" walk by.

Is it just me or does anyone else love the commercial for Dunkin Donuts with the kitchy song? You know the one I mean. "The back of my legs....sticking to the pleather" Man, I LOVE IT! I know, I'm a dork!

So what creative thing have you done lately? Me, nada. I suck. I can't figure out how to be creative lately. Give me some ideas everyone!!

The Humpty Dance, it's your dance, do the HUMP!

Thanfully, it's Wensday...Hump day! I like my job but it is getting a little boring. I can only stare into space for so long. I am stretching out making phone calls to collect money b/c I only have so many to do. I have some orders to change & such but a lot of the stuff is being given to the new girl. She started this Monday. Nice girl. Sweet.

What else....hmmm....the right side of my mouth feels as if my braces were just tightened & I had dental work done. I have an appt. on Monday to see my dentist. Wish me luck that it's not route canal!

Had another ob/gyn appt. last night. Everything is good. They got the results back from my Level II ultrasound. My dr. asked me if they had gone over the fact that the baby has a small sternum. UM NO! NO MENTION OF IT! Apparantly it's nothing to really worried about. She said everything else is great & most likely the small sternum is a heart murmer or nothing at all. She said they wouldn't do anything about it anyway now & the baby would have to show symptoms of it when he get's here to do anything. She said she doubts it's anything to worry about. His heartbeat is great and he's very active. So active that he hits my bladder several times a day. OIYVE!

That's all she wrote. I'm beat!

Wel, there are a few more pages left to this masterpiece, cough, cough, but unfortunately blogger would only allow me to upload this many.

I used my stash on this! I had an old K&Co Tag album that had just the right pages for my sixteenth birthday party photos. I used paper my dad bought me off of QVC eons ago & I think the only new thing I used were the Prima flowers, but they are so stinkin cute how could you not use them, ya know? I mean really!

This took me Sat & Sun. I started on NSD...what did you make this pass NSD? Come on, now, share with me!!!

For those that guessed other than #3 you are wrong.
The only one that got it right, besides my parents, was Teri Lynn! WTG girlie!
The Bobster didn't even get it right. He only got it right on the second guess b/c he said I was the baby with the second biggest head.
NICE!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
Woo hoo!

What are you doing?
Scrapping?
Cropping?
Taking photos.

So far it's 7:45 & I haven't scrapped at all. I did stop at my lss & buy myself some stuff. I couldn't let the day go by with a treat ya know.

The layout there....that is made with the
www.scrapbookjungle.com 's sponser of the month...Crate Paper. Can I say...the paper is "Da Bomb!" It's like crack, only less expensive & doesn't rot your teeth! Remember, one must have teeth or at least a facsimile of them.

I spent the day taking photos. My Godson's turns one on Monday & his mommy had a small "parents" only party for him. The Grandparents & Godparents only. It was nice. Only thing that sucked was it was outside. Yep, had an asthma attack, my throat hurt, my nose was on fire, my eyes burned & my ears itched. It's a blast having allergies. Oh how I love them. I spent most of the time indoors in her a/c. I feel better now. Thankfully.

Stopped at Motherhood & gots me 2 more maternity shirts. This should hold me over til the "boy" makes his debut. Of course, how he is getting out I have no idea. Labor & delivery doesn't really appeal to me. C-section, hmm, not so much. Maybe they can knock me out like they did in 40's. I will let you all know what I opted for when he gets here.

Ok, gonna go try to scrap while the "boys" are gone. All of them. Off to the dirt track for some racing. Again, teeth optional at these events & if you have a mullet....well hot diggity dog, you are in fashion at the dirt track!

Did you think I fell off the earth?

Nope. Just running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Bought a car. Pics to follow soon. Have to get them to fix somethings. I actually succombed & bought preowned. Didn't want to but the deal was too good to pass up plus the mileage & warranty are fantastic. What did I get you asked?

Chrysler Town & Country MiniVan.

I went looking for an SUV but ended up with the minivan. I guess with the two older boys plus the new little one soon to arrive, the minivan was the best bet. Lots of room & it drives nice.

What else? What else? Hmmm...had another ultrasound this week. Haven't scanned the photos b/c I suck but I took the Nana with me. She didn't get to see him on the u/s yet unlike his daddy & aunt. The poor Nana, she needs to wear her glasses more often. There was the u/s tech, me & the baby on the screen. All of a sudden my boy decides to show off his goods. Well, let me just say, that if I didn't know beforehand, there is no mistaking it now. It's huge! I mean MY GOD I didn't think they made them that big on a baby. Well all of a sudden my mom goes "Where is it? I can't see it." The u/s tech turned to her & said "YOU CAN"T SEE IT!?" It's sad really. She's blind as a bat but once the pic came out she saw it. You couldn't miss it!

I put the "Bobster" on the envelope system. He is horrible at sticking to a budget. It's as if the money turns to water in his hand. He should take that show on the road. It's a shame "That's Incredible" is off the air. His trick of money into water would have done great. I don't know what to do, it's so hard to get him to stick to a budget. Sigh. Guess he is going to have to whore himself out. Any bidders???? Anyone at all!!!???? Trust me, it's worth it. I know, TMI!

Ok, off to find my Amazon g/c so I can get a new scrapbook idea book!
