New Layout

The scrap group that I own, Divalicious Scrapbooking, was doing a telephone scraplift, hosted by Tara (Shout out to Tara....yo dogg!..tee hee).

Anyway here is mine:

I loved using the color combo brown & green.


If you notice I am now taking pics of my layouts.
I have a brand new scanner all hooked up
BUT
my computer cd reader is broken so the scanner is just sitting here looking pretty.
Like a trophy scanner.
Like me with Bobster...trophy wife!
Yea, that's it, I am a trophy wife.

This was taken Christmas 2007.
I did not reach my goal of getting them scrapped before Christmas 2008 but I am close to it.
I did another layout from 2007 Christmas
BUT
I can't share yet.
It's for a telephone scraplift challenge that Tara is hosting on Divalicious.
When she gives the ok, I will post it.



So the snow yesterday....
Was that a bust or what?

It's all gone already.
I wouldn't mind a nice, good snowfall.
Of course, I say that now, until I have to clean off my van & then deal with wet shoes coming into my house.
Cheeks has yet to experience really good snow to play in.
I am anxious to see what he would think of it.

Monday, Monday & a meme (Thanks Julie!)

The holiday weekend flew by.
We had assorted children here all weekend.
I did manage to fit in some scrapping, all the while telling Cheeks, no you can't play with scissors, don't tear mommy's paper, I said not to stick the stickers on the wall. I am such a mean mommy.

I am getting closer to getting my Xmas 2007 pics done before Xmas 2008 comes & goes. Guess it pays to be laid off. I will have scrapping done but a messy house & no money. It's all about priorities people!

Laid off Pays off & other mutterings

Who said being laid off is bad for the mojo?
Not I!
My mojo came back, well it's either back or I have a ton more time on my hands. Prob the latter.
Anyway I created this two puppies over the weekend.

On another note, late Saturday night as I was scrapping at my dining room table, out of the corner of my eye I notice the cat run across the floor & slip under my washing machine in the kitchen.
No big deal.
Except...WE DON"T HAVE A CAT!!!!!!!

He's back!

If only he was this cute.
He's black tho.
I haven't seen him since.
Guess he's visiting Minnie for the holidays.
Hopefully he will stay in Florida or Cali....whichever state he went to, I don't care I just really don't want him back. You know it's nice without him here.
Sigh.

Yesterday Bobster surprised me by arranging for a sitter & took me to see the movie of my choice.
I chose...Twilight.
Good choice...well for me at least, Bobster not so much.
I loved it.
He hated it.
He expected vampires baring teeth & action.
He got vampires falling in love, being nice & a romance story.
Teehee.
Fool!
I haven't read the book but I wanted to see the movie.
So glad I went.
It was Fab-U-lous! Simply fabulous!!
Only downfall was this theater didn't have pretzel bites.
Hello...what kind of theater doesn't have pretzel bites? I should boycott but it's a close theater to the house.

Just some random shots from weekend.
We will have a small family party for him over Thanksgiving.
The "stomach" flu hit the household this weekend.

Thankfully it seems to have gone away.

Yesterday while someone was napping I took advantage & decided to scrap.
I only got one page done.
It's simple because I am working out of just my stash & I am getting to the bare min in supplies (yea me!)
This is from Christmas 2007. Scanned horrible, as TimBob really isn't that funny looking. LOL

I attempted to do some Xmas shopping this weekend.
Didn't get one iota.
Just wasn't feeling it.
I went to one of the local malls & couldn't find anything.
I seem to do much better online.
Anyone know of any good online shops for gifts this season???

The reason I got to scrap today is b/c I got a call at like 9:30 from daycare saying Cheeks had had his 4th blowout in 90 mins. Apparently the virus was just "oozing" out & finishing up it's stay today. I had to leave work & this afternoon someone took a 3hr nap so I thought let's make the most of it! I am pretty sure he is feeling better, altho. his appetite is off a bit. He only had yogurt for dinner & didn't want cheese. Hello! Cheese is his fav.

On another note today is National Nachos Day.

So plan accordingly.

Perhaps I will have Bobster take me out for Mexican.

Haven't had good Mexican in a loooooooooooooooooong time!
